Written By Techspace on Tuesday, 20 March 2012 | 04:58

After celebrating the good deals in Christmas, Australians have received once more good time to enjoy shopping, but it was for a short time. It has been reported that Apple Inc has put on sale its all new iPad early on Friday. The moment fans got this news, they throng to the stores to grab their favorite device and to see it closely. Most of the enthusiasts were found seeking for the 4G ready tablet computer that has received good reviews.
However, as per the previous launches made by Apple, the number of sales is found as less, but the demand is still elevating for the new iPad version. On Thursday, Apple shares were found breached by $600 for the first time on Nasdaq. The stock has risen up for the year by 47 percent and for the month, it is counted around 10 percent. The changes are witnessed because of the anticipation for this new device. And now, a single Apple share has been rated at a price tag of $499 which is more than the Wi-Fi only iPad.
The initial rush that has been witnessed for this new third generation device universally was not only for the stores in Sydney where were made of reflecting glass and polished wood, but also across the streets at Telstra, an Australian phone company. This company has opened two of its stores just after midnight local time to start the process of selling the Apple’s iPad. This sparked an 8 hour march on Apple. A 34 year old construction manager David Tarasenko was the first person to pick up this all new product as said by the Chief Executive of Apple, Tim Cook.

The unique feature about this product is its high definition retina display that comes with powerful camera and potentially runs on high speed 4G LTE network or Long Term Evolution network. However, some of the consumers could get disappointed if they are seeking for Telstra’s 4G network in Australia.

iPad Availability and the Craze:

The all new Apple iPad went to sale from today in total 10 countries including U.S., Singapore, Canada, Britain, and France. Other than this, all die-hard Apple enthusiasts have started lining up in front of the stores of this giant phone and tablet manufacturer. Media pictures have shown tremendous lines of people standing in queues outside Apple stores in Paris, London, Munich, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Even if 4G access is not provided, at least 3G technology is available to cater the requirements of iPad users.
More interesting to hear is that a person, Stephen Parkes was paid A$950 by an odd jobs website’s founder to wait in the queue for four days. Many people were standing on the long line since many hours just to get this device on their hand and experience what it offers.
Orders for Apple’s iPad have started from March 7 and 2-3 weeks would take to ship to the United States.
However, when a new iPad has been launched, Apple would still keep selling its previous model, iPad 2, but with a drop of price by $100, standing to a price tag of $399. As estimations made by Canaccord Genuity analysts, around 65.6 million iPads could go on sale. Accordingly, target price for Apple stock has also been evaluated and it could rise to $710 from the available $665. Since the launch of iPad in the market from 2010, the company has sold total 55 million iPads. The sales of tablet are expected to be increased to 326 million by 2015 where Apple could become the market leader, as said by a research firm Gartner.
So, get ready to enjoy the exhilarating experience that iPad 4G would offer.
