Today's photograph from the Wired Aperture -- beautiful daily photography of the Wired world around us, curated every day by Wired.co.uk. Subscribe to the Wired Aperture RSS feed or follow the @WiredAperture Twitter account to make sure you never miss a picture.
A visitor looks at an artwork entitled "My Soul" by Katharine Dawson, which consists of a laser-etched lead crystal glass formation in the shape of a brain, and was created using the artist's own MRI scan. The exhibit makes up part of the Wellcome Collection's major new exhibition, "Brains", which includes slices of Einstein's brain, 3,000-year-old trepanned skulls, ancient Egyptian mummified brains and brains in jars. It's open to the public from 29 March to 17 June, 2012.
