The insanely popular PC game, Max Payne has finally made it to the iDevices. Reportedly, it has been optimised to take full advantage of the new iPad's pixel-packed Retina display.
Back in 2001, the original PC version of the game had made big splash in the gaming industry. In addition to several game of the year awards, it also won the prestigious BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award. According to the publisher, Rockstar, the game does full justice to the original PC version. The iOS version has multiple aiming options to make it touch-friendly. Additionally, the title will feature Rockstar Social Club integration.
The Max Payne Mobile is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 4, iPad, iPad 2 and the new iPad. It is available for $ 3 (approx Rs 150), and can be downloaded here. Android users need not worry though, as a version compatible with the OS is expected to release on 26th April.
